Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 135
The Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 135 is the most accessible model in the Carboflex NEO line and the only one with X-Short technology. With a frame weight of 135 grams, a head size of 500 cm² and a slightly shorter frame length, you get a racket that sits compactly in your hand and gives you plenty of grip on your shots. Where lighter frames demand clean technique, the Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 135 takes a step towards the player: you need to generate less power, you feel exactly where the head is and your swing comes through smoothly.
The shorter frame is the key. X-Short reduces the distance between your hand and the string bed, so you can react faster and are ready for the next ball sooner. That pays off above all during the rally: quick volleys, short reactions to hard drives and shots where you have little room to swing. Anyone ready for a racket that can do more will find the Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 135 a comfortable step up.
Technically the Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 135 shares everything with the top models. X-TOP NEO drops the classic bumper completely: instead of a plastic protective strip, the frame gets aramid fibres against impact and a PTFE treatment against abrasion, with grommets integrated flush into the profile. The result is a sleek, closed frame that glides more easily along the wall. The redesigned grommets also take weight out of the head, which makes the swing weight of the Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 135 seven points lower than the previous generation — the biggest gain in the whole range.
The throat received the new treatment as well: Heart Tech stands for a shaft mould that is 3% thicker at the heart of the racket, so less energy disappears into flex and more goes into ball speed. Together with the 135 grams that delivers depth without having to go full out, while the active fibres in the head keep vibrations limited. The sharp white and black design with a touch of red in the head and the French tricolour on the bridge makes the Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 135 unmistakably a Carboflex, visually as well.
